The green room is where you check your camera, microphone, and speaker before entering the recording room. In this article we’ll cover how to join and use the guest room in the Zencastr iOS app.
Note: Make sure you’ve downloaded the Zencastr iOS app before joining the recording room.
Join with a recording link
Follow the instructions below to join with a recording link.
Click on the recording link.
The Zencastr iOS app will open.
Enter your name and click Next.
Join with a 5-digit code
Follow the instructions below to join with a 5-digit code.
Open the Zencastr iOS app.
Click Join room with guest code.
Enter the 5 digit code and click Join room.
Enter your name and click Next.
Get set up in the green room
Follow the instructions below to prepare for the recording.
Tap Allow to give Zencastr access to your camera and microphone.
Tap the Settings button to configure your camera, microphone, and speaker settings.
Click Join to enter the recording room when you’re ready.
Tip: Wear headphones and make sure you’ve selected the microphone you want to record with before joining.
What guests can do
Once you join the recording room, you can:
Turn your own camera and microphone on and off.
The host controls the recording itself. Guests can’t start or stop the recording, manage other participants, or change the recording mode.
