Import an existing podcast into Zencastr using its RSS feed. Your existing episodes and show information are brought into Zencastr without changing your current RSS feed or hosting setup.
What happens when you connect your podcast?
When you import a podcast, Zencastr creates a copy of your existing RSS feed. Your episodes, audio files, artwork, titles, descriptions, and season and episode details are imported automatically, so you don’t need to recreate them.
After the podcast is connected, new episodes and updates published to your existing feed will sync to Zencastr.
Your current RSS feed isn’t changed during the import, so your listeners won’t experience any interruption. Importing your podcast also does not make Zencastr your hosting provider unless you later choose to redirect your RSS feed.
Importing your podcast
Follow the instructions below to import your podcast.
Click your Profile icon in the lower-left corner.
Click the + icon next to Shows.
In the pop-up that appears: Click Import Existing Podcast.
Enter your podcast name and click Verify Podcast.
Zencastr sends a verification email to the email address associated with the podcast’s RSS feed.
