How long does it take for Spotify to list my podcast?
It typically takes a few hours to a few days for your podcast to be reviewed and listed on Spotify. Although Spotify doesn't send an email confirmation once it is listed, you can check its status by logging into your Spotify for Creators account. If your podcast appears in the “Your Podcasts” section, it’s live and ready for your audience to enjoy.
If my podcast was already listed on Spotify when I had a different hosting provider, do I need to resubmit it to Spotify when moving hosting?
No, if your podcast was already listed on Spotify when you moved your hosting to Zencastr from another provider, you don’t need to resubmit it. The 301 redirect from your previous host will ensure your audience follows you.
Additionally, you should update your RSS feed in Spotify for Creators to indicate that Zencastr is now your hosting provider. Follow the instructions in Spotify’s support article to update your RSS feed in Spotify for Creators.
I get a "Your podcast RSS feed is missing email address" error when trying to submit my RSS feed to Spotify. How do I fix this?
Spotify requires your RSS feed to include an active email address for submission. Zencastr hides your email by default to protect you from unwanted emails, but you can add it back when submitting to directories.
Follow the instructions in this article to add your email address to your RSS feed in Spotify.
