In this article, you’ll learn how to manage a guest’s microphone and camera, remove a guest from the room, and view a guest’s health check using Zencastr in Chrome on your Android device.
Note: If you’re using an iPhone or iPad, use the Zencastr iOS app and follow the instructions for Zencastr iOS app: Manage guests while recording instead.
Managing a guest
Tip: Mute a guest when background noise is interfering with the recording.
Tap on the guest’s frame.
Tap the Microphone icon to mute the guest.
Tap the Camera icon to turn off the guest’s camera.
Note: Once you turn off a guest’s microphone or camera, only the guest can turn it back on.
Tap the three-dot menu, then tap Remove from room, if you need to remove the guest from your recording room.
To see your guest’s health check, tap the Participants icon.
Tap the three-dot menu next to the guest’s name.
Tap Healthchecks.
