Who’s this article for? Hosts |
The Soundboard lets you play intros, stingers, and clips live during your recording and they're captured in the take. Load your clips before you start so they're ready to use.
Zencastr is rolling out a new recording experience. If this is the version you’re using, you’re in the right place. If your recording room looks different, see this article instead. |

FAQs
I have a pre-recorded intro/outro that I want to add to my recording but I don’t want to play it live. How can I do this?
You can add a pre-recorded intro or outro while you're editing the recording. When added this way, the intro appears right before your main content, and the outro is placed at the end; this positioning can't be adjusted. For instructions on adding an intro or outro to your recording, use this article.
Can I upload video files into the Soundboard to play them live and have them recorded during my session?
The Soundboard currently supports audio files in MP3 or WAV format only. Video files can't be played or recorded through the Soundboard at this time.
