The sample rate must be within the allowable range (8000hz - 96000hz)
Updated over a week ago

In order for all the tracks in a recording to match up properly, we need to standardize the sample rate between them. 44100hz is the widely accepted standard for studio quality audio so this is what Zencastr uses. If a users sample rate isn't already at 44100, then we resample it on the fly. Having a sample rate this is too high above 44100 causes unnecessary strain on the recording process. Thus we limit the range to between 8000 and 96000.

Cause

The sample rate of the users audio device is outside the range of 8000 to 96000.

Remedy

Have the participant change their input and output sample rate to within the range. 44100 is best as this makes it so no resample needs to be performed on the audio.
