After you’ve created an episode, invite your guests to join your recording. Episodes are not scheduled in Zencastr for specific dates and times, so you can invite guests to join you in the episode’s Recording Page anytime.

The link to an episode’s Recording Page:

  • Is always formatted zencastr.com/[your account username]/[episode name].

    • Example: zencastr.com/exampleuser/episode1.

  • Does not expire.

  • Can be accessed any time by anyone who you share it with.

Inviting Guests Via Zencastr

Inviting guests via Zencastr triggers an automatic email to guests that contains the link to the Recording Page and instructions on how to join you there.

📝 Because episode are not scheduled in Zencastr, inform your guests separately as to what date and time to meet you in the Recording Page via calendar invites, emails, or your preferred method.

  1. From the Recording Page, click Invite.

  2. Type the name and email address of each guest you want to invite to the recording.

  3. Click Send Invites and a popup will confirm that the email has been sent.

Inviting Guests With Link

To invite your guests by sending the link to the Recording Page in your own email:

  1. From the Recording Page, click Invite.

  2. Click Copy Link.

  3. Sign in/open your account in your preferred email provider and paste the link into the email.

  1. From the Recording Page, copy the link from your browser’s address bar.

  2. Sign in/open your account in your preferred email provider and paste the link into the email.
