Zencastr Editing is a paid feature that enhances and combines your separate recorded audio and video files into a polished, mixed file. With the Separate Enhanced Tracks option, available to users on paid plans, you can export individual audio files for each participant with enhancements like leveling, noise reduction, and loudness normalization already applied.
In this article:
What Are Separate Enhanced Tracks and Why Use Them?
Separate enhanced tracks are individual audio files for each participant, with Zencastr Editing’s audio enhancements, including leveling, noise reduction, and loudness normalization applied. Unlike the combined mix, which merges all tracks into one enhanced file, separate enhanced tracks are exported as individual MP3 or WAV files, allowing you to work with each participant's audio separately. This option also differs from the raw separate tracks recorded by Zencastr, which have no enhancements applied.
Separate enhanced tracks are perfect for users editing in external software, as the key audio improvements are already applied. This saves time on routine postproduction tasks while still giving you the flexibility to make additional edits as needed.

Editing can be run for up to 6 participants at a time.
