You can add captions to your video and customize how they appear. Captions can make your recording easier to follow, especially when viewers are watching without sound. In this support article, we’ll walk you through adding captions to your recording.
Getting started
Before you begin, make sure the recording you want to edit is available in your Library.
How to add captions to a recording
Follow the instructions below to add captions to a recording.
Click Library from the left navigation menu.
From the Recordings tab, select the video you want to add captions to. Click the three-dot menu, then click Edit.
Click on the Controls icon.
In the side bar that appears, scroll down to the Captions section.
Select a caption style: Single or Karaoke.
Choose the position, font, and font color.
Note: Available font styles vary depending on the font you select.
To further customize your captions, expand the available settings to fine-tune the position, font size, outline, and shadow. If you select Karaoke, you can also adjust the highlight color and scale.
