You can add captions to your clip and customize how they appear. Captions can make your clip easier to follow, especially when viewers are watching without sound. In this support article, we’ll walk you through adding captions to your clip.
How to add captions to a clip
Follow the instructions below to add captions to a clip layout.
Click Library from the left navigation menu.
From the Recordings tab, select the video with the clip you want to edit. Click the three-dot menu, then click Edit.
On the right side of the screen click on the clip layout you want to edit.
Click the Controls icon.
In the sidebar that appears, toggle Captions on.
Select a caption style: Single or Karaoke.
Choose the position, font, and font color.
Note: Available font styles vary depending on the font you select.
To further customize your captions, expand the available settings to fine-tune the position, font size, outline, and shadow. If you select Karaoke, you can also adjust the highlight color and scale.
When you’re done with your captions, you can close the sidebar. Your changes are saved automatically.
If you need to undo a change, click Undo in the upper right corner.
