A frame background is an image that appears behind your clip. You can upload your own frame background to customize the look of your clip or keep its visual branding consistent. In this support article, we’ll walk you through adding a frame background to your clip.
How to add a frame background to a clip
Follow the instructions below to add a frame background to a clip layout.
Click Library from the left navigation menu.
From the Recordings tab, select the video with the clip you want to edit. Click the three dot menu, then click Edit.
On the right side of the screen click on the clip layout you want to edit.
Click the Controls icon.
In the sidebar that appears, scroll down to the Video section.
Toggle Frame background on, then upload your background.
To make additional changes to your frame background, click Advanced.
Click your clip. When it’s highlighted in blue, adjust the sizing of your clip as needed.
If you need to change your frame background click Change.
Once you’re finished setting up the frame background, you can close the pop-up. Your changes are saved automatically.
If you need to undo a change, click Undo in the upper right corner.

I can’t see my frame background
If you uploaded a background but can’t see it, make sure Frame background is toggled on and resize your clip frame to show the background behind it.
