You can customize an individual participant without changing the appearance of anyone else in the clip. Update their name, replace or adjust their video, change their background, or reposition and resize their frame.
Customizing a single participant
Follow the instructions below to customize a participant.
Click Library from the left navigation menu.
From the Recordings tab, find the recording with the clip you’d like to edit and click the three-dot menu.
Click Edit.
On the right side of the screen click on the clip layout you want to edit.
Click the Controls icon.
In the sidebar that appears, scroll down to the Participants section.
Click on the participant you’d like to edit.
In the dropdown that appears you’ll have a few options.
Name: Edit the Name field to change how that participant is labelled on screen.
Video settings:
Replace Video: Replace the participant’s camera feed via Upload Image.
Eye Contact: Use AI eye-contact correction to make the participant appear to look toward the camera.
Background: Keep, blur, or replace the participant’s background.
Content Fit: Control how the participant’s video fits within the frame.
Opacity: Adjust the transparency of the participant’s video.
Reset: Restore the participant’s video settings.
Frame Settings:
Background Image / Background Color: set the image or background color behind the participant’s frame.
Horizontal / Vertical: Adjust the position of the frame.
Width / Height: Resize the frame.
Border Radius: Adjust the roundness of the frame corners.
Reset: Restore the participant’s frame settings.
When you’re done, you can close the sidebar. Your changes are saved automatically.
If you need to undo a change, click Undo in the upper right corner.
