In the left navigation menu, under Recent Chats, you'll see My Producer alongside chats named after your recording rooms. Knowing which one you're in, and when to use each, makes it easier to get the best use out of My Producer.
Main chat
The main chat is your show's general-purpose conversation with = My Producer. Open it when you're not working on any one recording in particular, for example, asking a broad question about any show in your account, or starting something new without a specific episode in mind.
Recording room chats
These chats are scoped to a specific recording room. These types of chats will be named after the recording room. Everything related to that recording room, the raw recording, its postproduction, any clips made from it, and the resulting episode, lives in that chat and its Files sidebar.
You’ll see this chat in the sidebar when you’re editing the recording, in the postproduction editor, or editing a clip, carrying the context of what you're currently editing.
Which one should I use?
Use the main chat for planning, show-level questions, or kicking off something new. Switch to a recording room chat once you're focused on a specific recording, that's where edits, postproduction, and clip requests happen.
