In this article, you’ll learn how to start, pause, resume, and stop a recording from the recording room using Zencastr in Chrome on your Android device. When you’re finished, keep the room open until all tracks have finished uploading.
Note: If you’re using an iPhone or iPad, use the Zencastr iOS app and follow the instructions for Zencastr iOS app: Start, pause, and stop a recording, instead.
Control your recording
Follow the instructions below to start, pause, or stop a recording.
When everyone is ready, tap Record.
A 3-second countdown begins before recording starts.
To pause the recording, tap Pause.
When you’re ready to continue, tap Resume.
When you’re finished recording, tap Stop.
Stay in the recording room until every track has finished uploading.
Note: Leaving the room before uploads are complete can interrupt the upload process.
When the message “All recording tracks uploaded” appears, you can leave the recording room.
