How to add, change, or delete the card information on your Zencastr account.

Managing your payment method is essential for the smooth operation of your Zencastr account if you are subscribed to a paid plan or buying postproduction credits. Zencastr accepts credit cards or debit cards that can be processed as credit cards as the payment source for these purchases.

Adding Card Information

If you are subscribing to a paid plan or buying postproduction credits adding a card to your Zencastr account is necessary to complete the purchase.

To add a card:

  1. On your Dashboard, click your avatar on the left.

  2. Click the Payment tab.

  3. In the Payment Method section, click Add payment source.

  4. Enter your card information.

  5. Click the Update Payment Method button.

Result: The card is securely added to your Zencastr account.

Changing Card Information

If you need to change the card that is being charged for an active paid plan or postproduction credits, update the card details in your Zencastr account before your subscription’s next billing date or any subsquent purchases.

To change a card:

  1. On your Dashboard, click your avatar on the left.

  2. Click the Payment tab.

  3. In the Payment Method section, click the 3-dot menu ⋮.

  4. Select Change.

  5. Enter your card information.

  6. Click the Update Payment Method button.

Result: The new card information is securely added to your Zencastr account, replacing any previous card details.

Deleting Card Information

If you would like to delete a card from your Zencastr account, ensure that your account is either on a free plan or that you have canceled your paid plan. Active paid plans require there to be a valid card on the account.

To delete a card:

  1. On your Dashboard, click your avatar on the left.

  2. Click the Payment tab.

  3. In the Payment Method section, click the 3-dot menu ⋮.

  4. Select Delete.

  5. In the confirmation modal, click the Delete button.

Result: The card is deleted from your Zencastr account.
