A few simple habits make every Zencastr recording sound and look better and they take only a minute to set up. This overview points you to the essentials so your first take is a clean one.
Start with these
If possible, use a dedicated mic, not your laptop's built-in one.
If you're using a laptop or computer, use Chrome, Edge or Brave and ensure your computer meets system requirements.
If you're using an iPhone or iPad, use the Zencastr iOS app.
If you're using an Android device, make sure you're using a Chrome browser.
Ensure your connection is at least 5 Mbps, ideally 10 Mbps or higher, and wired if possible.
Close other apps and tabs before you record.
Wait for the green Ready to record status before you start.
