Zencastr lets you bring guests into your room by email or a shareable link, so you can record together from anywhere. Sending invites ahead of time gives everyone a chance to test their setup.
In this article you’ll learn how to invite guests to your recording room from the iOS app.
How invite links work
The emailed invitation and copied invite link both open the same recording room.
Anyone with the link can join the recording, so share it only with your guests.
Guests enter through the green room to set up their devices before joining.
Note: Treat the invite link like a key to your recording room. Avoid posting it publicly.
Inviting guests
Follow the instructions to invite guests to your recording room.
In the recording room, Tap the Participant icon in the upper right corner.
If the guests you want to add are in your phone’s contact list, tap the Add Participant icon to invite guests.
Tap Share Invite Link.
Tap Mail to send the invite link via email.
Tap Airdrop to share the link if your guests are using iOS devices and are nearby.
Tap Copy to share the link yourself.
You can record up to six participants, including the host.
Tip: Send invites ahead of time so guests have time to test their setup.
