Zencastr iOS: Create and publish clips

You can create clips from recordings in the app. Zencastr can automatically identify moments from your recording that can be used as clips.

Note: Manually creating clips from the transcript isn't supported in the iOS app. To create clips from the transcript, use the Zencastr web app.

Creating and publishing clips

Follow the instructions below to create and publish a clip.

  1. Tap the Chat icon.

  2. Find the recording room chat with the recording you want to use and tap it.

  3. In the recording room chat, tap or type Create clips.

  4. You’ll see a preview along with information like the recording duration and estimated credit cost.

  5. You’ll be prompted to choose an aspect ratio (Square, Portrait, or Landscape).

  6. Next, you’ll be prompted to select a layout template.

  7. Tap the template you want to use and tap Generate.

  8. Once the clips are created you’ll see a message “Clips creation complete”.

  9. Choose where you want to publish your clips:

    1. Publish to Zencastr.

    2. Post to your connect platforms. You can manage your connected platforms from the Zencaster web app.

    3. Publish to both.

  10. Choose when to publish:

    1. Publish immediately.

    2. Choose a time and date to publish.

    3. Let AI use the best time and date to publish.

  11. You can find published clips on your Profile page.
