The recording room is where you set up your devices, invite guests, and control the recording. As host, you'll get everything ready here before clicking record. In this article, you’ll learn how to join your recording room using a Chrome browser on your Android device.
Note: If you’re using an iPhone or iPad, use the Zencastr iOS app and follow the instructions for Zencastr iOS app: join your recording room as a host instead.
Joining and getting ready
Follow the instructions below to join your recording room.
The room opens automatically after you create it. You can also find it from Recent Chats.
Tap Settings to review your recording mode and device settings.
Check your camera preview.
Invite guests to your recording room.
When you're ready, tap Record.
Tip: Stay in the room until every track finishes uploading after you stop. |
What's in the room
Record: Starts the recording after a 3-second countdown.
Participant list: Invite and manage participants.
Settings: Review your recording mode, microphone, and other call settings.
Messages: Chat with participants in the recording room.
Hand raise: Signal the room without speaking. When guests use the hand raise feature you’ll see it in their frame.
Camera and microphone: Manage your personal recording controls.
