You can choose the shape of your clip based on where you'll publish.
Different platforms and content formats work best with different aspect ratios. Choosing the right one helps your clip fit the space where you plan to publish it.
Tip: Choose your aspect ratio based on where you plan to share the clip:
16:9 for widescreen video, such as YouTube.
1:1 for square social feeds.
9:16 for vertical video, such as YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, or TikTok.
Choosing the aspect ratio
Follow the instructions below to set the aspect ratio for your clip.
Click Library from the left navigation menu.
From the Recordings tab, find the recording you’d like to edit and click the three-dot menu.
Click Edit.
On the right side of this the screen click on the clip layout you’d like to edit.
In the toolbar, click the aspect ratio icon.
In the sidebar that appears, you’ll have the following options:
16:9 (widescreen)
1:1 (square)
9:16 (vertical).
Once you’ve selected your aspect ratio your changes will be saved automatically.
If you need to undo a change, click Undo in the upper right corner.
